This 100 per cent syrah red is dark leaning to black, Expect lavender, violet, black- and blueberry aromas. In the mouth the wine exudes richness, and layered fruit flavours. Full-bodied and intense.
Long aftertaste.
Enjoyable now, but will improve with five to eight years of cellaring.
Pair with medium-rare grilled steaks, whole roasted beef tenderloin, Sauce Bearnaise, roasted rack of venison, Sauce Hollandaise, aged hard cheeses.
