Aromas of dark berry fruit lad to layered flavours in the mouth. Complex, with ripe tannins, powerful, well-balanced, delicious and worth cellaring for two – 15 years.
Pair with game stews, roasted beef, braised beef, game pates or terrines, hard cheeses, or on its own to contemplate world politics, or complexities of wine making.
