Smaksnotat - 2005

Notes: Problems encountered while ripening the grapes led the company to abandon production of its two top wines - Castello di Brolio and Casalferro - to reserve the best grapes of the whole yield exclusively for Brolio. Consequently, in a difficult harvest year, a wine was achieved that is excellent in its class, with an intense ruby red color, good body and complexity with a noble aftertaste. The wine is round and good, but has a special taste (dark with hint of oak). So you will probably like it or not.
