Both valleys are cooler than Barossa valley, and this shiraz offers blackberry and mulberry aromas. Opaque in colour this dry, full bodied wine with a fine acid backbone is “juicy” and compelling. The tannins would soften with two to three years of cellaring, but you can air with fatty stews, or medium-well grilled hamburgers, or semi soft cheeses.
